Pictured is a Right Whale with a juvenile. These are both carved out of Walnut with Maple barnacles. The adult has a little baby inside when you take it apart. This piece together is a bit of a collaboration with Genesis's father, Peter. Genesis found a blank that Peter made for a small run of Right Whale puzzles 10 years ago. Genesis finished the puzzle many years later, but it was smaller than the newer puzzles to come out of Genesis Chapman Studio , so it became a juvenile Right Whale paired with a larger adult one that is more in keeping with the design of today's puzzles.
